Retrofit Roundtable: From adaptive re-use to zero carbon

Date: 22 November 2023, 16:00 - 19:30
Location: Level 31, The Fenchurch Building (Walkie-Talkie), 20 Fenchurch Street, London, EC3M 3AG

In a rapidly changing world, sustainable building practices are no longer an option but a necessity. For investors, developers, architects and contractors, it is crucial to make informed decisions that minimise the environmental impact of projects.

Event Details

DWF is hosting a topical roundtable discussion with industry leaders from across the Built Environment to explore the challenges and opportunities of retrofit projects. The discussion will include a presentation from John McRae, Director at Orms, who will talk about the retrofit of The Standard London. The Standard was transformed from a formerly unloved brutalist council office building into a hotel that has reinvigorated the south side of the Euston Road and embedded circular economy principles into its design.

This event is hosted in partnership with Hotel Property UK – HPUK
