DWF enhances support for working parents and guardians

27 June 2022

DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, is providing enhanced support for working parents and guardians with a series of new and improved family friendly policies.

In response to colleague feedback and aimed at creating a more inclusive, empathetic environment for parents and guardians, DWF's UK family friendly policies have been significantly updated and added to.

Significant uplifts have been made to maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave. Discounted nursery fees are also part of the improvements.

New policy provisions are being introduced to support colleagues who have premature babies, are doing IVF or who experience the loss of a child. While support has always been available, the policies will provide a consistent level of support to all UK colleagues.

On the new policies, Helen Hill, Chief People Officer at DWF, said: "We continually evaluate policies of this nature to ensure the needs of our colleagues are being met, to provide them with the best possible opportunities to support their wellbeing and that of their families.

"It is important that all colleagues feel supported during major events in their lives, a time when events in personal lives naturally take a priority over work.

"We hope that through these significant policy improvements we are demonstrating our commitment to supporting our colleagues in these moments."
