DWF expands insurance Claims Management & Adjusting offering with senior hires

08 July 2024
DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, has expanded its global Claims Management & Adjusting (CMA) offering with the addition of Darren Goldman, as Head of North America, and Antonio Herrera Sancho, Claims Director in Spain.

Darren joins DWF from the International Programs Group, where he served as President, and previously held the position of General Manager at QBE Services in Toronto, Canada. With 27 years of experience in the insurance industry, particularly within the London market, Darren brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. He will be responsible for CMA in both the USA and Canada, home to approximately 70 claims management and adjusting colleagues based in offices in Chicago, Charlotte, Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto.

Antonio has over 20 years of experience in the banking and insurance industries. His career includes positions at prominent domestic and multinational companies such as Aon, HomeServe, Allianz, RTS, Legalitas, and Santalucia. Antonio joins DWF after serving as the Strategic Partnerships Director at Santalucia, where he was instrumental in their expansion. He is our first hire for CMA in Spain, formally adding Spain to the CMA global footprint.

These appointments follow last week's announcement that DWF has agreed to acquire Australia's leading claims management business Proclaim.

DWF’s CMA integrated offering operates across the UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Canada, the USA, Australia and now Spain, allowing us to deliver a blended solution, drawing together volume claims management, adjusting, consultancy and legal expertise in over 60 countries globally. The centralised approach generates greater efficiencies and lower costs for clients, as well as ensuring a seamless service across multiple, widespread territories.

Paul Cowen, Global Head of Claims Management and Adjusting, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Darren and Antonio to DWF’s CMA team. Their expertise and proven track records will be invaluable as we continue to expand our services and enhance our client offerings. These appointments highlight our commitment to international growth and excellence in claims management.”

Darren said: "I am excited to lead the talented CMA team as the regional director for the North American business. I look forward to leveraging my experience to drive innovation and deliver outstanding support to our growing client base.”
Antonio added: “DWF’s strong CMA practice and growth strategy closely aligns with my own vision and values. My experience across the insurance industry including underwriting, assistance companies, TPAs, and major brokers equips me to strengthen and diversify the CMA offering.”
