David is experienced in the recovery of both volume and niche based consumer and commercial debt. He represents local authorities, national and regional commercial blue chip companies, financial institutions, banks, utility companies and government bodies.
David's expertise includes portfolio management, civil recovery, litigation, fraud and repossession. Recognised as an innovative thinker and strategic leader in the debt recovery arena, he has a keen eye for talent development, process improvements and developing his team's capabilities. David balances client services, delivers outstanding operational management and develops people extensively. He takes great pleasure from maximising and developing talent in apprentices, paralegals and solicitors.
A pioneer in the area of developing legal talent, he is a change agent. People describe David as an engaging, authentic and committed leader, manager and communicator and a person who works with visible integrity and passion. His innovative thinking has made a major impact on talent development strategies and programmes. He is a member of The Institute of Credit Management and was shortlisted as a British Institute of Credit Management Credit Professional of the Year 2014.
He is also a member of DWF's Diversity Steering Group.
When not developing other people or dealing with debt or credit, David is a regular theatre-goer, enjoys walking and participating in the Rotary Club.
