Experience
Tracey has experience as project quantity surveyor across a variety of sectors including retail, residential, education, defence, ecclesiastical and mixed use developments. After completing an MSc in
Construction Law & Dispute Resolution, Tracey diversified into consultancy work advising clients on contractual matters and assisting with adjudications and mediation. Whilst working for a multidisciplinary consultancy, Tracey advised colleagues on a wide range of issues relating to both JCT and NEC contracts in order to ensure contract compliance and dispute avoidance. She has also provided contractual and quantum advice for clients faced with contractor claims.
Tracey's current role within DWF involves dealing with professional indemnity claims against construction professionals and assessing loss associated with building defects, advising on liability and quantum.
She is currently studying for a professional doctorate in Construction Law at Leeds Beckett University with her research focusing on standard form building contracts and covid-19.
