DWF appoints Warsaw partner, Joanna Wojnarowska, to global leadership position.

DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, has announced the appointment of its Warsaw-based partner to global position, effective from 1 May 2021.

Joanna Wojnarowska, an expert in property development, investment and construction, has been appointed Deputy Global Head of Real Estate.

Joanna, who is currently Global Head of Housing at DWF and Head of Real Estate at DWF in Poland, will co-lead and implement a strategy to grow the global Real Estate Team. The team is comprised of 200 lawyers, across 17 offices and 10 jurisdictions, who have worked on some of the industry's largest transactions.

This appointment forms part of DWF's new global operating structure which was announced in January.

The new structure is an important step forward in DWF’s strategy, which will help it to fulfil its aim of becoming the leading global provider of integrated legal and business services. It will see the Group move into three more streamlined and efficient global divisions, comprising Legal Advisory, Mindcrest and Connected Services.

Joanna ,who will remain Global Head of Housing at DWF and Head of Real Estate at DWF in Poland said, "I am delighted to have been appointed to a global leadership position at DWF as we launch our new operating structure. I believe it reflects the strength and dynamic growth of the Real Estate team we have at DWF. Together with Toby Askin, we will continue to focus on raising profile initiatives and excellent service to our clients across the region".

Michał Pawłowski, Managing Partner at DWF in Poland said: "I’m delighted that Joanna assumes the position of Deputy Global Head of Real Estate and joins me as the second representative of DWF Poland in the Firm’s Global Leadership. She is best placed to take up this role and I couldn’t be more satisfied that a professional of that calibre has joined us and develops that quickly in our structure. In addition to that promotion, a number of our colleagues have assumed global or regional practice area or sector leadership roles and responsibilities in the new operational matrix. That is a clear sign of trust and confidence DWF has to its Polish operations, for which we are very grateful".

The Warsaw office employs over 120 people and in combination with colleagues across DWF provides Legal Advisory, Mindcrest and Connected Services to clients regionally, nationally and internationally.
