DWF promotes 2 Partners and 1 Counsel in Italy

DWF, the global provider of legal and business services, has promoted Guglielmo Fabbricatore and Francesco Falco to Partner. The Italian arm of DWF now has 12 partners. Eleonora degli Abbati has also been promoted to Counsel and the team now has 20 at the counsel level.

Michele Cicchetti, Managing Partner of the firm, says: "the appointments of Guglielmo, Francesco and Eleonora confirm the constant growth of the firm and the focus on strengthening the skills and internal growth of our professionals who have distinguished themselves for their commitment, professionalism and team spirit. During the year, the firm was also strengthened with the inclusion of Counsels Francesca Leo, a member of the Energy and Real Estate departments, and Massimo Breviglieri, a member of the Financial Services department led by Luca Lo Po, who was appointed this year as European head of the Debt Capital Market practice".  

Guglielmo Fabbricatore is co-head of the Energy department in Italy regularly advises investors, industrial companies and investment funds on M&A and private equity transactions in the Energy, Real Estate & Infrastructure sector. He also has significant experience in financing transactions, having assisted several sponsors in project finance, asset finance and refinancing transactions.

Francesco Falco is Head of the Compliance Department in Italy and with his team assists clients, including cross-boarders, in related issues - from data protection to Legislative Decree 231/2001, from H&S to corporate governance - with the added value of an important experience gained in civil, commercial and bankruptcy litigation. Francesco worked for a year in New York in the global compliance department of an American law firm, enhancing his experience in anti-corruption and internal investigations (including those under the FCPA and the UK Bribery Act).

Eleonora degli Abbati has gained significant experience in the field of energy law and project financing assisting sponsors, banks and institutional lenders in significant transactions in the field of renewable energy. Eleonora assists Italian and foreign clients in negotiating the contractual documentation of SPAs, joint venture agreements, shareholders' agreements, financing agreements, PPAs and EPC and O&M contracts.
