DWF advises Valtellina S.p.A. in the issue of €10 million bond loan

DWF have advised Valtellina S.p.A., a leading telecommunications plant equipment manufacturer, in a transaction involving the issue of a bond loan worth €10 million, subscribed by Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. as part of its Basket Bond program.
The transaction, that follows the debenture loan of €12 million which was undertaken in December 2019, and issued by Valtellina and subscribed by UniCredit S.p.A., will help ensure the enactment of their investment and development plans.
DWF's Australian business has experienced rapid growth over the past 12 months, more than doubling its headcount following the acquisition of leading claims management firm Proclaim and the addition of a 62-strong team from Hall & Wilcox earlier this year, led by Matt Curll and Rachael Arnold.
Following the UK Supreme Court judgment in For Women Scotland v The Scottish Ministers the Equality and Human Rights Commission ("EHRC") has published interim guidance for employers and service providers on the practical implications of the case.
As part of the Spring Statement in March, the UK Government announced a number of consultations to assist with its aim of cracking down on tax avoidance and ensuring better tax compliance in its effort to close the tax gap. This included a consultation seeking views on possible further changes to the Research and Development (R&D) tax relief regime.
