Michael recently joined DWF’s Melbourne office in May 2020 along with Principal Lawyer, George Haros. As a litigation and dispute resolution specialist, Michael has expertise in disputes concerning directors / shareholders, commercial contracts, professional negligence, real and intellectual property, construction, and workplace relations.
Luke has been with DWF's Brisbane office since 2017 when DWF first entered the Australian legal market. He specialises in the defence of workers’ compensation, medical negligence and public liability claims, and he has particular interest in assisting clients with investigations made by the Office of the Health Ombudsman.
Commenting on the appointments, DWF Asia Pacific Chairman Mark Hickey said it was a great result to see such strong representation for the business as it continued to expand its service offering and physical presence across Australia.
“DWF is committed to providing excellent service and outcomes to clients but the only way to do this effectively and consistently is to attract and retain high-calibre talent. To be recognised for various categories in this years’ Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards is a great result which demonstrates our breadth of services and the quality of our team. Congratulations to Matthew, Michael and Luke on this wonderful achievement.”
DWF entered the Australian legal market in 2017 and has since opened offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Newcastle. The Australian practice employs approximately 200 people and provides a range of complex, managed and connected services.
