Experienced Special Counsel, Anthony Forrester, has over 20 years' experience in occupational health and safety, risk management and workers compensation, product liability, public liability and compulsory third party insurance. Anthony joins DWF from Jensen McConaghy in Brisbane where he was a Special Counsel. Anthony will both complement and enhance the DWF team as an experienced lawyer with extensive experience in injury claims—including workers compensation (State and Federal jurisdictions), motor vehicle and public liability claims. Anthony has acted on behalf of numerous State and Commonwealth Government bodies, insurers, self-insureds and corporations.
Also joining DWF is Marissa Coward who was most recently a Special Counsel at Holman Webb in Brisbane. Marissa has 13 years' experience in the defence of dust disease and personal injury claims. Marissa's unique expertise will enhance DWF's niche speciality in respiratory illness claims and dust disease litigation. In addition, Marissa is experienced in both plaintiff and defendant recovery actions and insurance litigation involving property damage, negligence and motor vehicle accidents. Throughout her career, Marissa has developed a unique expertise in a broad array of respiratory illness claims conducted across a number of jurisdictions nationally.
