Benedict specialises in organised fraud, exaggerated injuries, low velocity impact cases and strategic litigation such as committal proceedings and private prosecutions.
Benedict has been with DWF for over a decade and now leads DWF's telematics products, which are market leading, winning two Insurance Post awards in 2020. Benedict's team is the only legal team in the United Kingdom that analyses and interprets telematics data, and then sets the relevant legal strategy to use it in the defence of legal claims. Benedict's team uses it in all types of motor claims, including detecting and proving fraud, and resolving liability disputes.
Benedict joined the firm in 2012 and since then has achieved a number of industry firsts such as committing the first 'decoy' driver in an induced accident to prison. Benedict also specialises in layering and exaggerated claims and is also part of DWF's Organised Fraud Team.
