Patrycja Knerek is a member of the Banking & Finance Department at DWF (Poland).
A specialist in civil, commercial and banking law. She has been advised clients on M&A transactions, with a particular focus on legal due diligence investigations of companies in energy sector. During her studies she was awarded the Rector’s Scholarship for students with outstanding achievements. Lecturer at numerous scientific conferences and the author of a chapter in a scientific monograph. She has also participated in a mentoring program organized by the Warsaw Bar Association and provided pro bono legal advice at the University Legal Clinic. Furthermore, Patrycja completed a scientific program on the artificial intelligence law and new technologies at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium.
Prior to joining DWF Poland, she worked for leading law firms in Warsaw, where she has been involved in mergers and acquisitions transactions and a number of legal due diligence investigations of various entities, particularly in the energy sector. She also gained professional experience in the law firm in Barcelona, where she has participated in advising clients in cross-border matters, particularly in real estate purchase transactions. In 2021, she completed an internship at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland.
She commenced her postgraduate studies in Investment Banking at the Warsaw School of Economics in 2023.
