Experience
Paweł is a Counsel in the Poland office. He specialises in Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC), Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), as well as new technologies.He has extensive experience in designing and implementing GRC and ESG systems, as well as in their evaluation. He has led projects involving the comprehensive implementation of ESG solutions, including reporting in line with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), circular economy initiatives, and the prevention of greenwashing.
Paweł advises clients across a wide range of sectors, including financial services, technology, pharmaceutical, medical, transport and industrial sectors. He also provides advice on matters including compliance, new technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), financial technologies, data protection and cybersecurity, AML/CFT, and anti-corruption.
He is a member of the Sustainable Business Committee at the Polish Chamber of Commerce. He participates in EFRAG’s work on European ESG reporting standards. He is also a member of a working group at the Ministry of Development and Technology on the CSDDD and corporate due diligence, as well as a working group on the transition towards a circular economy and sustainable products. He has acted as a short-term expert in a European Union project in Azerbaijan.
Paweł is the author of publications featured, among others, in Harvard Business Review. He has conducted numerous training courses within his areas of expertise and has spoken at various industry events. He gained his professional experience at a Big Four consulting firm, international law firms, and while working for a regulator.
Paweł is also a lecturer of Postgraduate Banking Studies at the Warsaw School of Economics.
