Yasmin is a pragmatic and commercially astute Special Counsel with over 20 year experience in well-regarded practices in both Australia and the UK. She specialises in defending claims with an emphasis on professional indemnity, property damage, construction, and public and product liability. Yasmin is also experienced in representing insurers in coverage disputes.
Yasmin has acted in proceedings against a wide variety of professionals, including valuers, managing agents, builders, architects and engineers.
Yasmin is the former president of the NSW Claims Discussion Group and has had articles published in the Law Society Journal and Insurance Law Journal.

- Acted for an electrical engineering company in a Supreme Court matter involving a fire in a power station, which caused significant property damage and financial loss. The damages claimed were in excess of $20 million.

- Successfully struck out a multimillion dollar construction claim based on the claim being statute-barred by reason of s 14 of the Limitations Act.
- Represented a number of real estate agents in relation to personal injury and property damage claims as a result of negligent mismanagement.
- Acted for brokers in response to claims arising from allegations of negligent placement of insurance.
