DWF strengthens Manchester private capital team with 'next-generation' director hire

DWF has appointed director Christopher Noel to head the Manchester Private Capital team as the business further enhances its private wealth offering nationwide. 

DWF has appointed director Christopher Noel to head the Manchester Private Capital team as the business further enhances its private wealth offering nationwide. Christopher joins from Addleshaw Goddard LLP and was recently named by the Legal 500, as a "Next Generation" Lawyer in the Private Client rankings in the North West.

With over 13 years' experience, Christopher specialises in advising ultra- and high-net worth individuals, family trusts, business owners, entrepreneurs, charities and corporate entities. His work includes high net worth tax planning and wealth protection, wills, family investment companies, the creation and administration of trusts, the administration of estates, and advising regional businesses and the family interests behind them.

Christopher also has significant experience in advising on residence and domicile and in acting for offshore trustees and international individuals in relation to UK assets and taxes.

At DWF, Christopher will enhance the practice's existing presence in the private client market across the UK as well as working with the firm's international offices to advise high net worth and ultra-high net worth international families on their UK and global holdings and structures.

In addition, Christopher will be working closely with the firm's dedicated national contentious trusts and estates disputes team. He has a wide range of experience on trust disputes, both in the UK and internationally, and in advising on high value and complex estate and trust claims. Christopher is a full member of both the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS).
