Lucy was previously a partner at BLM and has 15 years’ experience in the professional indemnity market with an extensive focus on the financial services sector. She specialises in defending claims for professional negligence against accountants, tax advisers, financial advisers, insurance brokers, mortgage intermediaries, insolvency practitioners, pension professionals and trustees. She also regularly advises insurers on coverage issues.
Lucy regularly manages large numbers of claims arising out of blanket or block notifications for financial mis-selling, whether in the courts or via the Financial Ombudsman Service, and has assisted clients with large-scale redress exercises arising out of S166 Skilled Person Reviews.
