The business has been traded by the Teneo as administrators of Missguided since Monday in order to compete a sale with a buyer.
The Missguided Group has been a long-standing retail client of DWF since it was founded.
DWF's corporate and banking teams led by partner Alasdair Outhwaite, Amrish Sharma and Stewart Anderson previously advised Missguided after it secured a deal from Apollo-backed Alteri last December which saw 50% of Missguided’s equity acquired by the business.
Due to high increases in freight and energy costs and severe supply chain disruption over the last six months, a strategic partner process was undertaken by the Company, resulting in the deal which completed today for the sale of the business and assets of Missguided to Frazers Group for £20m, ensuring that the brand and business has been saved as well as a large majority of their employees.
