Experience

Jamie has over 13 years post-qualifying experience. Jamie advises insurers, and self-insured’s in defending personal injury cases arising out of EL, PL and RTAs, in particular those allocated to the Multi-Track. Jamie has previous experience of serious injury claims, including chronic pain conditions, brain/spinal injuries, and fatal claims.

Jamie has a Masters in Commercial Law (including insurance law).

Jamie is an avid golfer, both watching and playing golf.

Recent Cases

Scott v Gavigan [2016] EWCA Civ 544 (8th June) : Acted for the successful respondent in the Court of Appeal, in a road traffic accident case relating to the issues of foreseeability and legal causation.
