Experience
Lisa leads a team of multi-disciplinary lawyers with many years' in-house experience in both large, global businesses and regulated entities, together with specialist lawyers drawing on both in-house and private practice experience in their respective fields. The team business partners with all divisions of the Group, supporting on all aspects of DWF's client life cycle, employment and partnership matters, supply and procurement, bids and tenders, global M&A and structuring, company secretarial matters, regulatory compliance and privacy obligations. Prior to her appointment as Group Head of Legal, Lisa was General Counsel responsible for advising the Group on M&A and Corporate Affairs, including the transactions which welcomed Whitelaw Twining, Acumension and BCA into the Group and most recently, the scheme of arrangement by Inflexion Private Equity.
Before joining the Group Legal team in 2020, Lisa was a partner in DWF's UK Corporate team, specialising in Equity Capital Markets and M&A. Up to that time, Lisa had 17 years' experience of acting for corporates and entrepreneurs on all aspects of M&A activity and advising issuers and brokers on AIM and Main Market capital markets transactions.
