The JCT intend to issue publish new editions of their standard form building contracts in the Spring of 2024. Our construction team will take you through the main changes and their practical impact.
In this webinar, DWF's construction law experts Jonathan Gaskell and James Callender will run through the main changes to the JCT 2024 standard form contracts published to date, and their practical impact for those using these contracts regularly. The webinar will explain the background to the issuing of the updated contracts and an outline of the key changes – contrasting them with the equivalent provisions in the 2016 Editions and focussing principally on the Design and Build Contract. It will be led by Jonathan Gaskell, a Partner in our Infrastructure, Construction & Energy team with experience of the JCT contracts going back some 25 years and James Callender, a Solicitor in the team working with JCT on a daily basis.
