Our UK insurance team has been recognised at the Insurance Post Claims and Fraud Awards 2022.
Our strategy combines the considerable experience of our lawyers supported by our data analytics capabilities to proactively identify cases and apply our expertise from an early stage – realising considerable savings for our insurer clients.
Partner and head of the Somatic Illness Team, John Lezemore, said: "These cases can initially present as low-value and then dramatically increase through factors including disproportionate legal costs and exaggeration. Working collaboratively with our clients we've saved the insurance industry £17.8 million on these types of claims in the last year."
This is the third award the Somatic Illness team has received in the last year, following success at at the Insurance Times Claims Excellence Awards 2022 and the British Claims Awards 2022.
Also at the ceremony, Joseph O'Gorman - an Intelligence Analyst in our Fraud and Intelligence team was highly commended for the Claims Rising Star award.
