DWF’s Mary Nemeth shortlisted for Women in Law Awards 2020

Mary Nemeth, DWF’s Australian Head of Litigation and Insolvency, has been named as a finalist in the Partner of the Year - SME Law category in the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards 2020.
Commenting on the announcement, Mary said it was a great honour to have been personally named as a finalist but that the nomination was also indicative of her team’s hard work and dedication to securing positive client outcomes. 

“Since joining DWF in March 2019, I have been impressed by both the businesses’ commitment to its clients and culture of innovation. As a legal professional with over 20 years’ experience, I can say with confidence that the calibre of the team is second to none and while I am thrilled personally for this nomination, I am also honoured to work with such a talented group of people who help make it all happen.”

Mary brings more than two decades of experience to DWF and has deep expertise in large-scale commercial litigation, dispute resolution and insolvency spanning various industries and sectors including SMEs, financial services, and property. Her practice extends to commercial and consumer lending, compliance advice, anti-competitive conduct advice, security audits and certification of security. 

The finalist list, which was announced on 4 November 2020, features over 260 high-achieving female legal professionals across 31 submission-based categories.
