DWF appointed to EM LawShare legal services framework

DWF, global provider of integrated legal and business services, has been appointed to the EM LawShare legal services panel.

The appointment will see DWF provide legal services to support the Framework on a range of areas including Administrative & Corporate Governance, Adult Services, Civil Litigation (including personal injury), Contract/Commercial/Procurement, Conveyancing/Property, Criminal Litigation, Education, Employment, Housing and Planning/Highways/Environmental. 

The agreement will run from 1 April 2022 until 2026 and is estimated to account for total annual legal services expenditure of c.£70m.

This is our first appointment to this very important public sector framework and we look forward to furthering our relationships with panel members, delivering our recognised high quality, proactive and innovative approach to resolving legal issue, whilst providing value for money for the taxpayer." 

EM Lawshare is a consortium of public bodies. As at 1 May 2021 it had over 220 members. The vast majority of these are local authorities in England but the membership also includes fire and rescue and police authorities, government agencies, universities, NHS Trusts, arms-length management organisations (ALMO’s), subsidiary companies of local authorities and national park authorities.
