Experience
Alexandra Saj is a Senior Associate who has a wide range of experience acting in contentious professional indemnity claims. She has acted for construction professionals, in particular engineers and architects and their insurers, in complex and high value claims. She has acted for both Claimants and Defendants and has a breadth of experience from pre-action through to litigation as well as managing adjudications and other alternative dispute resolution methods (mediation).
Some highlights include advising in relation to litigation following remedial works undertaken to a defective sewage pipeline (both defending the upstream claim and bringing recovery actions); successfully defending adjudications in relation to alleged negligently designed electrical installations in two large UK hospitals and mechanical installations in other healthcare facilities; and acting for clients in defending numerous multiparty post-Grenfell litigation involving alleged cladding and fire safety defects in residential blocks.
Alexandra also advises clients on coverage issues in respect of professional indemnity and CAR/PAR Policies.
