Experience


Karin is an Associate at DWF, Qatar office specialising in litigation and both contentious and non-contentious regulatory matters.  

Karin has previous experiences in advising clients in resolving disputes arising from retail, commercial and investment banking, consumer credit matters, debt recovery and security enforcement. Karin has also advised and represented clients based in Qatar in respect of their ICC and LCIA arbitrations. 

Karin enjoyed a broad training experience at Eversheds Sutherland, spending time in the Manchester office sitting in the Real Estate Litigation and Financial Services Disputes and Investigations, alongside attending both a client secondment in Manchester United Football Club and an international secondment in the Eversheds Sutherland, Doha office during which she undertook both contentious and advisory work in construction and infrastructure sectors, as well as assisting international corporate clients to establish their businesses in Qatar. 

Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Karin spent two years as a corporate and commercial paralegal at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where she eventually specialised in multi-jurisdictional analysis and worked on multiple projects across Freshfields' global offices. 

Karin gained a L.L.B Hons in Law from Lancaster University and did her MA (LPC with Business) Law at BBP Law School in Manchester.
