DWF's Lender Services team provides volume based collections, recoveries and legal enforcement services for FCA regulated businesses. The team is focused on early stage resolution and uses cost effective processes to recover or resolve overdue debts with an ethical approach aimed at achieving the best possible outcomes for both our clients and their customers.

Why work with our Lender Services – Banking & Finance Recoveries team?

We act for a wide range of banking and financial institutions in the area of FCA regulated Consumer credit collections, debt recovery and enforcement. We represent major international banks, motor finance lenders, challenger banks, building societies, , credit unions, second charge holders, other consumer credit lenders, asset based lenders and debt purchasers. 

Our team provide a complete solution covering every aspect of the process including early arrears rehabilitation, claims for recovery of an asset, formal claims for recovery of a debt (shortfall or principal), enforcement actions or pre-litigation collection.

We also regularly act with insolvency practitioners when seeking to collect out on a debt book of an insolvent company. 

Where a claim has been disputed or where fraud is suspected, we work closely with our specialist team of finance litigators.  

We also provide advice and support in relation to ongoing arrears management, general portfolio management, overflow or business process outsourcing facilities, contact strategy management, staff training and regulatory advice in association with our Finance Litigation team.
