Experience
Richard is a highly skilled real estate and property lawyer with almost 20 years' experience managing significant property transactions throughout Australia for both private clients and government. He regularly advise clients on property related transactions, from tenant lease reviews through to the acquisition of significant assets such as industrial estates, commercial office buildings and shopping centres.
Earlier in his career, Richard spent time working as General Counsel for a major international brand where he developed a broad understanding of the day to day legal issues faced by clients. This experience now provides him with invaluable insight and enables him to provide his clients with commercial legal solutions whilst achieving all of their objectives in each matter and transaction. Richard often receives positive feedback praising his commerciality and no-nonsense approach to client's legal issues.
Like most people, Richard enjoys spending time with his friends and family and appreciates the importance of having a balanced work/life mix. He has a young son as well as three older step children, which keep him busy when he's not in the office. Richard also enjoys all manners of sport but in particular cricket, soccer, AFL and golf.
