Mike Henman joins DWF in Birmingham as an Insurance sector Partner where he will work with clients on fraud and financial crime matters.
Mike is a highly experienced lawyer and has specialised in all aspects of counter fraud since 2004. He has a particular interest in indemnity issues and his robust approach to litigation means he is often sought out by clients on tricky cases. Mike has acted for insurers in negotiating bulk settlements, on a number of high profile issues, as well as regularly acting on multi-insurer cases.
Lorraine Carolan, National Head of DWF Fraud & Financial Crime team commented, "We are thrilled to welcome Mike, Charlotte and Peter to the team. They bring a wealth of experience and will be an asset to both the development of the Birmingham office and a fantastic addition to the Global Fraud & Financial Crime Team, continuing to enhance and broaden our services to clients"
Mike Henman also commented, "I am delighted that my team and I will be joining DWF's National Fraud & Financial Crime team, particularly as the company is going from strength to strength. I look forward to using my experience to help clients through complex matters as well as helping colleagues in the UK and across the globe on DWF's ambitious goals".
The appointments of Mike, Charlotte and Peter come during an exciting period of growth for DWF in Birmingham, following the appointment of John Campion, in the last month, as a Corporate Partner.
